Marriage Analogy

No Perfect Union

No marriage is perfect. That’s because it is a union between two imperfect people. However, a marriage that focuses on what is good while working on the areas needing improvement will only grow stronger. Meanwhile, a marriage where the focus is primarily on the flaws and imperfections will likely end in turmoil and dissolution.
If this is true for a union between two imperfect people, why would it be any different when talking about the union between millions of people over a few centuries. We don’t deny our imperfections, but we focus on our exceptional qualities while working to improve those areas needing work.

Opponents of CRT and its adjacent ideologies don’t deny that there are tough issues to deal with. We just know that the United States of America is strong enough to face those issues, learn from them, and grow stronger. We intend for this union to last.

I no longer teach in the classroom with my elementary and special education degrees, but I still consider myself an educator. I have used my passion for teaching raising my four children who are now young adults, as well as with the children I have volunteered my time with. I am currently using my skills to educate parents in Kentucky about the indoctrination happening in our public schools. I am thankful to have the support of my husband/high school sweetheart on this journey.
