NLTE Uncovers Rampant Misconduct, Gender Indoctrination in Unionville, PA Schools
Kennett Square, Pennsylvania -- Parents in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District have uncovered documents via public records request that show school employees forcing gender ideology on students as young as eleven without the consent of their parents. 

Children in certain classes were asked to "identify their pronouns" without any prior notice to, or consent from, parents. In some cases, these questions were presented as part of graded class assignments. Parents are concerned that the surveys could potentially violate the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment. 

Later in the 2021-2022 school year, two Patton Middle School employees, a teacher and a counselor, aggressively advertised a Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) club to students, soliciting kids as young as eleven to join the club, without the knowledge or consent of parents but with the approval and consent of the school district. 

Records reveal that staff members mocked parents who expressed concerns regarding this matter. Some parents expressed concern that the actions of the district demonstrated the unwanted influence of Critical Theories. Those parents were assured that such topics were not being taught in the district. 

That assurance was knowingly false, and the district's public communications on these issues were designed to marginalize any parent or taxpayer who spoke out. 

Three documents illuminate what parents have uncovered:

  1. An email between a Patton Middle School counselor and an English teacher, sharing their beliefs that content regarding sexuality and sexual identity is appropriate for children, and that children as young as eleven are "NOT too young to know their sexual orientation and gender identities"
  2.  An email between a Patton Middle School counselor and teacher discussing their efforts to guide and "support" a child exploring her gender identity, while agreeing to conceal this information from her parents. These individuals shared resources with each other to "help" the little girl explore transitioning her gender.
  3.  An email from the leader of the high school GSA announcing that the co-founder of the middle school GSA would speak to a group of students about her graduate studies in "Transformative Education and Social Change, with a focus on LGBTQ youth."

These documents were provided to parents in response to one public records request. The parents have made multiple record requests on a variety of subjects and plan to release more information in the coming weeks, including records of teachers and counselors mocking parents who expressed concerns about pronouns of preference and records of inappropriate communications between school staff and children regarding gender and sexuality. 

No Left Turn in Education represents a diverse network of concerned citizens who wish to protect children, no matter who they are or how they identify, from indoctrination. The parents who requested these documents take no issue with students who identify as LGBTQ+; they only seek to restore parents to their rightful role in their childrens' lives by exposing schools that are undermining families to push ideology on students. 

The parents attempted to work with the school district directly to address their concerns. After many months of stonewalling by the district, parents chose to disclose this information to No Left Turn in Education for the purpose of exposing what is happening in their local schools. 

The parents have elected to remain anonymous out of concern for retribution; one parent has faced personal and professional repercussions for exposing what is happening in the school district.

While us concerned parents get called domestic terrorists, it's the radical ideologues who actually threaten, harass, and intimidate parents who object to their woke agenda. No Left Turn in Education is standing up for these families and is holding officials accountable for enforcing the laws that are supposed to protect our kids."

No Left Turn in Education encourages teachers, staff, parents, and concerned citizens in this district and any other to come forward with information that exposes indoctrination in schools.
